How we are helping the fight against Covid 19

01/13/2021 Update:   Stay at home  order lifted in Placer County.  All Travel is good to go. 
 

Everyone's safety is our primary concern.   We pride ourselves on the level of cleanliness we've always provided to our guests.  Recently we have been working closely with Placer County, local Docs and Nurses, CHLA and the North Lake Tahoe Resort Association to develop safe and sanitary protocols for all Lake Tahoe lodging properties in an effort to assure guests and employee safety.  Regardless of where you stay we want you to be safe.   

Below you will find what we are asking guests and what we are doing to help prevent the spread of Covid 19

Dear Guests:

 Am I safe to travel?  We ask that all guests be able to answer "NO" to following:
1) You have not, in the last 14 days, been in contact with anyone who either is confirmed or suspected of being infected with Covid 19?
2) You have not traveled to a restricted area as listed by the US State Department or any other area with an growing Covid infection rate?
3) You are not experiencing any symptoms such as cough, fever shortness of breath, headaches, etc.....  ?    

If you answered yes to any of the above, Please STOP and contact us before entering the property. 530-525-1553 

We ask that guests to please practice the following when on the property
1) Masks not required if vax'd.  And not required in rooms or outside. Honor system.  
2) Practice good hygiene and wash hands and use sanitizer when entering any
     common area
3) Be kind and respectful of anyone who may be in a risk group.  
4) Local business requirements may vary.    

Doing our Part

Tahoma Meadows is taking the following measures to insure your safety. 

We have extended the time between arrivals and departures to allow for more extensive cleaning and sanitation.  We can not offer early check-ins or late check-outs at this time. This is for our guests and staffs safety. Thank you for understanding. 
 

  • No Shared HVAC systems between cottages
  • Private entrances and private baths for every cottage.
  • Microwaves available in all cottages for reheating to go dining options.
  • Staff is trained in proper protocols regarding guests, sanitation and social distancing
  • Extra cleaning of any commonly touched surfaces in and around the property
  • Limiting face to face contact.   Including outside and remote check-in, 
  • Limited stay over service as per CHLA guidelines.   
  • Approved sanitizers used on all surfaces in-between guests. All linens washed with hot water and properly sanitized. 
  • UVC and ozone used to super sanitize when needed  
  • Decorative and non-essential items have been removed from rooms for easier sanitation.
  • No one is allowed into sanitized rooms until check-in.
  • Common indoor areas are not accessible to guests at this time.
  • Max Occupancy per unit will be strictly enforced.  No Loading up rooms please.  Single family units use only please.  
 

Food service will adhere to county and State guidelines as conditions allow.  During heightened restrictions we will offer a continental breakfast for our B&B cottage guests.   Our full breakfast will be available as conditions and safety for our guests and staff allow.
